Over the last 10 years, I’ve been lucky to snowboard in the beautiful snowy mountains here in Australia and several powder-packed Japanese mountains. Throughout this epic journey, Rhythm Snowsports is one shop that has made my life easier so I would like to give them a shout out via The Lazy Society, as it slots in nicely with its ‘live smarter, not harder’ ethos. Whether you’re a skier or snowboard of any level, it’s all about looking good up on the mountain and Rhythm Snowsports will hook you up.
I’ve found Rhythm Snowsports staff always provides exceptional customer service, the pricing is very reasonable and they have a great range of equipment to choose from. I’ve bought nearly all my snow gear (snowboard, bindings and gloves), tuned up my snowboard and ordered random stuff from Rhythm Snowsports online. The delivery is also really quick . Once I ordered a pair of snow socks five days before flying out to Canada and it came with 2 days still to go.
If you are planning to hire stuff, I recommend you do it all online to make it easier and save you time. Once in the store, they will get you fitted up with quality gear and ready to shred down any mountain.

Rhythm in Australia
When making a trip up to my local mountains (Perisher and Thredbo) I always make a pit stop at Rhythm Snowsports in Cooma to hire equipment for my family and friends and get my board tuned up. If you’re driving up in the morning, try and get there before 6:15 am to avoid the coach rush hour especially during the weekends. Their staff will have more time to help you choose the best possible clothes and gear. Weekdays are generally cruisy so you can take your time.
I also recommend the Silver Bullet Food Truck just next to the Rhythm Snowsports store. They serve great coffee and breakfast which beats Maccas (McDonald’s) anytime!
Rhythm in Japan
During a recent trip Niseko I hired performance demo gear from Rhythm Snowsports for my son, which helped to take his skiing to the next level. All staff were professional and knowledgeable and hooked him up with the right gear which contributed to him having the best time shredding pow in Japan. The Niseko store made it even easier for us by giving us a lift back to our hotel with the ski gear late at night.
Both Japanese stores offer pick-up and drop off services so I recommend you call them in advance and check for availability.
